Unfortunately, extremely low entries for this year's horse trial combined with very wet fields has forced us to cancel our 6th annual horse trial. While the wet fields would have forced us to significantly alter the course, we can't warrant such an undertaking for such few numbers. We aplogize to the those dedicated eventers that had sent in their entries.
Unfortunately, we were more organized than we have ever been. The courses were set, mowed, flagged and decorated, including 5 new or significantly upgraded jumps. Hopefully some of these can be included in the Derby. Thanks to all the volunteers, Veronica, Paul, Claire, Mike and Katherine who had put in an great deal of time helping us prepare.
Don't wait until the last minute to get your memberships in order for this season.
Parking: We ask that all spectators park in the Harvey High School parking lot, located across the road from Brae Fearann. There will be a parking attendant directing trailers as they arrive. Please, no exceptions to these rules.
Directions: We are located in beautiful Harvey Station, New Brunswick. See complete directions.
Medical Assistance: Brae Fearann is conveniently located almost across the street from the Harvey hospital. Medical attendance and the ambulance will be on call for the Horse Trial.
Water: Water is available at the Event.
Stabling: We now offer limited on-site stabling with some additional stabling approximately 5 km from the Event. Please contact us as soon as possible should you require stabling so arrangements can be made. Please ensure that you have someone to hold your horse so that no horses are left tied to the outside of the horse trailer. We are located on a busy road and wish to minimize any possibility of a loose horse. Stabling is $30/night or $30 for day stalls during clinics and events. It is very unlikely day stalls will be available for the event.
Footing: The cross country courses have excellent grass footing with some gravel surfaces where required (on top of the banks). Corks are advised for pre-training and training as a safety precaution. The dressage ring is on sand with warm up on grass. Stadium will be on grass or sand. All warm up is on grass.
Canteen: A canteen run by horse show volunteers will offer on-site refreshments including: healthy snacks, light lunches, bottled water, coffee, juice, pop, and sweets.
Toilet: Porto-John will be available for the Event.
